When using the Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter, you have the choice of using an external DVI-compliant display as your main workspace or you can extend your workspace onto two HD displays. You can also use the Adapter to work in mirrored mode with a DVI projector so your audience can view your laptop screen.
Note: This Adapter only works with digital signals and not analog. You cannot simply connect the Adapter to a DVI-I accessory, for instance.
