How It Works

Using the lockdown screws on the cable, attach the adapter cable to the male DVI connector at the end of the video cable. If possible, use the locking screw to plug the HDMI connector into the display or other HDMI device input. To relieve strain on the HDMI connector, the adapter may be secured to the display with a cable tie.
