Designed for TV and HDTV systems in Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and South America - the PAL Sony 220GB HDR-PJ600VE Hard Disk Drive HD Camcorder with Projector lets you capture video at Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution and then play it back in HD using the camera's built-in HD projector. The integrated projector gives you the means to instantly view your home movies on up to a 100" diagonal screen without any cables or connections. Besides shooting and projecting video, the camcorder can also take 20.4 megapixel still images. The HDR-PJ600E stores your footage on an integrated 220GB hard disk drive, which supports hours of recording. Plus, you can expand the storage capacity with a Memory Stick or SD/SDHC memory card.

Sony outfitted the HDR-PJ600E with a back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS imaging sensor that works well in low-light situations. In order to ensure high-quality imaging, the camera features Sony's wide angle G Lens, which supports a 12x optical zoom and 20x extended zoom. The camera also features a 3" Xtra Fine LCD touch screen panel with TruBlack technology. The LCD panel makes recording easier and it also allows for instant playback right on the convenient touch screen. Plus, Sony's TruBlack technology promotes ultra high-contrast on the LCD for viewing the display under direct sunlight.

The HDR-PJ600E comes outfitted with several record enhancing features as well. It has Face Detection with voice enhancement and noise reduction. The dynamic microphone features 5.1 channel Dolby Digital for immersive surround sound. The camcorder also has Intelligent Auto, which supports 180 different scene combinations. Sony added a few playback and connection conveniences as well. The HDR-PJ600E features Direct Copy for transferring footage to a hard drive. It also features an HDMI output. Plus, if you do want to upload videos onto Facebook and YouTube, the camcorder comes with a USB cable, as well as editing and application software.

Built-In High-Contrast Projector

The camera's integrated high-contrast projector is built-in to the 3" LCD panel. This gives you the freedom to share your footage and stills virtually anywhere. The projector is powerful enough to project up to a 100" diagonal screen. It features over 13 lumens of light output, a 640 x 360 resolution output, 1500:1 contrast ratio, 1.6 ft (0.5 m) throw ratio and 10-100 type screen coverage. It works even better when combined with the advanced Clear Phase stereo speakers

The HDR-PJ600E offers 1920 x 1080 high definition resolution letting you record your adventures and memories in Full HD quality.
