Karaoke is here to stay. The Singing Machine Classic series blows the roof off your mother's karaoke, pumping your favourite music out of a lightweight package. The SML343 features a front loading CD Player that plays music CDs and CD+Graphics. The disco light feature kicks up your performance with extra glam. Line-in lets you connect to other audio devices (sold separately). RCA output jacks connect to your TV to scroll the lyrics, and the two microphone jacks allow you to sing a duet without sharing a microphone (one microphone included). The built-in speaker provides powerful sound. The inclusive 3 CD+G discs make this the perfect package for you to host your own karaoke party.

CD+G, Echo, and AVC

CD+G, or Compact Disc plus Graphics, is a regular CD that displays graphics in time with the music. CDG has a video output for simple graphics, but not full motion video. The graphics function is used to store song lyrics, and display the lyrics in sync with the music. CD+G software displays lyrics, which can change colour as they are to be sung. A regular television is all that is required to display CD+G lyrics. Produced by creating minor controlled feedback in the singer's voice, echo adds depth and resonance, without affecting the music. Auto Voice Control (AVC) is used primarily during practice sessions while a singer is learning a song. The AVC function only works with multiplex recordings and not with standard audio recordings.

Auto Voice Control (AVC) and Echo

Auto Voice Control is ideal for practice sessions and learning a new song. With AVC activated, the vocals on multiplex recordings will be muted when the singer starts to sing through the microphone. When the singer stops, the vocals will resume to normal. Adjust Echo control to enhance your voice for a concert hall effect.

Balance

Take your performance to the next level with Balance controls. Use the Balance control to adjust the levels between the pre-recorded singer's voice and the music when using multiplex karaoke discs.
