The RP2301FCXK has a powerful 2,100-watt variable speed motor, delivering 9,000 up to 22,000 rpm, combining power and precision for the most demanding routing applications. The soft start feature allows for smooth start-ups. The trigger switch has a lock button for lock-on and lock-off functions.

The Router has a deep 0 to 70mm plunge depth capacity, with easy to read depth scales, conveniently located plunge lock lever for efficient operation and shaft lock for quick and easy bit changes. Features quick-release plunge depth adjustment with micro control along with 3 preset depth stops for added precision. It has a tool-less templet guide system for quick and easy installation and removal.

The built-in fan with labyrinth construction minimizes dust from entering the tool. The router can be connected to a dust extraction system with an optional dust nozzle (not included).

Linear ball bearing for super-smooth plunge action. Ergonomically contoured knob style handles.

It can easily be operated with one hand. Durable - obtained by using larger sized ball bearing on the drive end of armature. Labyrinth type retainers and fan that prevent the ingress of dirt and dust. There is an easy to read depth adjustment scale for precision cutting depths. It can be set in 0.1mm increments. Twin LED job lights to provide lighting which is designed to cast a minimum shadow of router bit on the workpiece. Speed Control Dial will match your cutting speed to the job in hand for added control. The contoured knob type handles provide comfort and grip in equal measures. When holding the upper portion of the handle it fits the contour of the hand from thumb to palm. Grip the lower part and the and the neck of the handle fits the thumb and the anti-slip ribs fit the third and fourth fingers for a sure grip.
