Designed for TV and HDTV systems in Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa and South America - the Panasonic HC-V700E HD Camcorder (PAL) is capable of shooting 1920 x 1080/50p high-definition video using the AVCHD format. It's also capable of shooting digital still JPEG images in a range of resolutions and megapixels. Plus, with the addition of the optional 3D Conversion Lens (sold separately), you can even record in 3D format. You can store your footage using the camcorder's available SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot, which can support up to 64GB memory cards. The HC-V700E features a convenient 3" (7.6 cm) LCD touch screen display with intuitive touch control features for recording and playback. It also features a mini HDMI output for playing back footage in Full HD on your compatible HDTV.

The HC-V700E has a high sensitivity MOS image sensor, progressive recording ability and a lengthy list of shot-enhancing features. This list includes Hybrid Optical Image Stabilization, the Crystal Engine PRO with Intelligent Resolution technology, a 46x Intelligent Zoom and 28 mm wide-angle Panasonic lens. It's also equipped with O.I.S. Lock, still picture recording at up to 6.1 megapixels, a zoom mic with Wind Noise Canceller, a microphone input, Tele-Macro focusing and iA (Intelligent Auto). With recording features like this, you'll be able to produce beautiful HD images/videos with incredible color, detail and the flowing beauty only progressive recordings can deliver.

Progressive recordings, as opposed to interlaced, reproduce the entirety of an image both across and up/down. This yields vibrant, true-to-life colors and authentic reproduction of each frame. Plus, when you watch your videos on an HDTV, you'll see each shot as it was intended to be seen - in Full HD 1920 x 1080p at 50 frames per second. You may even forget you're watching a home movie. Other highlights include 2D to 3D conversion, Face Detection, Scene Modes, Advanced Highlight Playback, an LED video light, auto lens cover, composition guide lines and a variety of indexing functions.

When you're done shooting and ready to edit, the HC-V700E comes with the HD Writer AE 4.0 (Windows only) software for editing, archiving and sharing your footage. It offers help for uploading to social media sites like YouTube and Facebook. Plus, the mini-HDMI port provides an uncompressed, Full HD video and audio link to your HDTV. Using the HDMI interface also ensures that the camera's two-channel AAC or Dolby Digital audio is transferred to your home theater surround sound, giving you high-definition audio to match your HD video. You can even burn your footage to DVD or Blu-ray by purchasing the proper DVD or Blu-ray Disc writer.

Hybrid O.I.S.+

Optical Image Stabilizer (O.I.S.) Lock

Still Picture Recording

Focus Assist

This function shows which subjects are in-focus by displaying their outlines in blue. You can easily check the focus on LCD when manually focusing, to ensure consistently clear, sharp images

Relay Recording

The Relay Recording mode automatically switches from the built-in flash memory (once it's full) to the SDXC/SDHC/SD Memory Card and continues recording. You don't have to worry about missing an important shot while switching media

Pre-Rec Function

This smart function records three seconds of images even before you actually begin shooting. The images are held temporarily in the camcorder's internal memory, before recording begins

AGS (Auto Ground-Directional Standby)

The O.I.S. linear motor system can detect when the camera is in an unusual shooting position - such as when you've inadvertently left it on in recording mode. In these cases, the camera automatically stops recording, saving both battery power and media storage space

LED Video Light

Auto Lens Cover

World Time

Setting the time is as easy as selecting a city from the displayed map. The World Time function lets you set the time for two cities, home and destination. You don't have to figure out the time difference at your destination, and it's easy when you get home

2D to 3D Conversion

2D images can be easily transformed into 3D images with the 2D to 3D Conversion function. Simply connect the camcorder to a 3D-compatible TV with an HDMI cable. PAL Recording Camcorder

The HC-V700E camcorder is designed for use outside of North America. It's made for countries that support the PAL color encoding system. Phase Alternating Line or PAL recording is used in several regions around the world - including: North Africa, East Africa, Western Europe, Central Asia, East Asia, Southeast Asia, South America (Brazil/Argentina), Great Britain, Australia and Oceania (South Pacific Islands).
