Image Stabilization

Optical images stabilization reduces camera shake, and is for normal shooting conditions.
A.I.S. is most effective when shooting in bright scenes on the wide end of the zoom, up to about 5x zoom.
Enhanced A.I.S. reduces more camera shake than standard A.I.S. mode, and can be used throughout the zoom range.
Note: In general electronic image stabilization, such as A.I.S., results in a narrowing of the angle of view of the lens (blowing up of the image), and a loss in image quality. You should use the lowest setting of A.I.S. as necessary to stabilize your image.
Manual Scene Modes

High Speed: Shoots up to 95 stills in about 6.3 seconds.
Medium Speed: Shoots up to 95 stills in about 12.6 seconds.
Low Speed: Shoots continuously until the recording media is full.
Stop Motion Recording
In Stop Motion mode, pressing the Snapshot button on the camcorder causes it to take two frames. You can then animate a figure, or otherwise create your own stop motion video.
Self-Timer
You can set a built-in timer to take a still photo, or use the face detection feature when you want to get the photographer in the shot. This is in still photo mode.
