Marantz has developed its own discreet circuits to replace conventional ICs. These HDAMs (Hyper Dynamic Amplifier Modules) consist of discreet components with short identical signal paths for the right and left channel. HDAMs have the same function as conventional IC operation amplifiers, but exceed these with their high flow rate and reduced noise by far for a more dynamic, precise and detailed sound.

High current power supply

The power supply is equipped with fast high current Schottky diodes as well as new and higher quality memory capacitors compared to the previous model. The power supply capacitors have been enlarged by 120% to improve current stability in demanding listening situations and reduce AC noise.

Reference quality D/A conversion

The CD6007 is equipped with the new, high-resolution D/A converter of reference class AK4490. In addition to two selectable filter options, it offers a resolution of up to 192 kHz/24 bit as well as DSD 5.6 MHz for optimal sound fidelity with taut bass, pleasant mids and soft, extended treble in CD playback and high-resolution formats from USB storage media.

High-res audio playback from USB sources

The CD6007 can play files in MP3, WMA, AAC and WAV, FLAC HD, ALAC, AIFF (up to 192 kHz/24 bit) and DSD (up to 5.6 MHz) from a connected USB storage media.

Digital filter

The CD6007 trumps with a newly developed digital filter option. The two modes (filter 1/filter 2) allow optimized playback of digital music content adapted to your preferences using the D/A converter AK4490. Filter 1 uses a slow roll-off for a spatially deeper sound, filter 2 a steep roll-off for a more precise stereo image.
