The Samsung X550 has both an external display and an internal display. The external OLED display located on the front cover of the phone has a resolution of 96 x 96 pixels with 256 colors (8 bits). It displays the time, date, new messages received, and calls among other things without even having to open the phone. Flip the phone open and you will see the larger, brighter, and more vividly colored 1.9 inch, 120 x 160 pixels graphical TFT internal display with 65k colors (16 bits).
