The RH-1988WS will play and record on DVD-RAM, DVD±R/RW, DVD+R Double Layer disks and record direct to its 160GB hard for up to 220 hours of MPEG4 format files. Record to HDD or DVD from your digital camcorder with front panel DV input (IEEE1394). With its Digital Optical and Coaxial audio outputs, you will be able hear your movies in true surround sound when connected to your Multi-Channel Home Theater. HDMI connectivity will allow true 1080p output to your HDMI ready monitor.
This unit works with a PAL or Multi System TV only. It does not record NTSC.
